For a simple story, the storytelling is very well conveived. I liked how you tell a story in loose sequence, and add that little twist right at the end.
I had to re-read it a couple of times, but, neato! Your art has the correct blend of real-looking-ness and cartoony-ness to be just exactly slightly disconcerting.
Personally, I would take a good toaster over a diamond ring any day.
Wow. Your style is really quirky and the story's just weird enough to have made me reread this a few times. You draw pretty fucking incredible shoes, too.
Wow, that's really surreal to read for the first time. Your art style is really cool, kinda twised and cartoony. I also like the non-linear story-telling and the reveal at the end there.
....oooh, i get it now. i had to read it a few times too. wow, really cool way of sequencing it, and the lack of text really makes you look at the artwork and understand what's hapenning. awesome work :O

It was all done in blue. I didn't have any black fine-liners left for Dec to use. It was an awesome job seeing as he only came over to keep me company while I did the challenge.
I think the blue inks work really well, which I was surprised at.
At first my reaction was: nice art, but I don't get it. THEN I GOT IT! Yes. Non linear. Smart. (Although, like Mark, I don't quite see where page 2 fits in.)
