Hello hello,

Amei and I are teaming together again this year for the challenge.

I realised this first post is made on Sunday, but we started our comic last night at 11pm Saturday Perth time, and we are currently still working on our Saturday submission. Still 5 hours left before our 24 hours are up. We got caught up making our comic and didn't make this post yesterday night, gah. Since we didn't do the placeholder on Sat, I don't know if we can still qualify for the challenge. Which really sucks, because it's a real dampener that we did so much but due to this slip we might not qualify after all.

Words can't describe how fucked up we feel. All the effort and planning that went into this. Then we forgot to put in the first anchor post to mark our starting time.

As of this post, we still have 4 hours til our 11pm Perth time Sunday deadline. But there isn't anything to prove it. Guess we got a bit overexcited eh.

We drafted a 24 page story, we still have about 3 pages to go, everything is pretty much finished. I'm still going to try to finish it in 24 hours because that is what we set out to do.

Oh nearly forgot, Amei and I both took turns drafting and inking. (She did a shitload more of it than I did though)

Bit of the process..
We started idea generating at 11pm Saturday, designing the characters at 12am, nutted out the layouts by 1:30am, then started work on the comic straight after that. Apart from a 2 hour nap between 7:30am and 9:30am, we didn't stop working on it. We are both very proud of our efforts and what we have managed to produce so far.

(I'm still kicking myself that I didn't make the first post last night instead of today arrgghh)

The time is now 8:30pm in Perth. We still have 2 and a half hours to go before the 11pm Sunday deadline.
