Gary Lau - "Trigger" - Melbourne

Postby Gary Lau on Mon Jun 12, 2006 1:03 am

Ok, I'm gonna give this a go. I'll take it easy this year, since I still have a lot of work that I *should* be doing.

I'm starting 11:59pm Sunday and will finish 11:59pm Monday (or probably earlier). Don't know how many pages. But it's basically a murder mystery thriller.

Here goes...

Oboy. Moving way too slow and not sure if I can keep up this style much longer... must not give up!

It's getting quite hard looking for these references. If I can stomach it myself, probably more profanity and gore ahead.

Cool! It's neat to see an artists you know work in a medium you've not seen them in.
This looks neat as hell, Gary. :)

Thanks, Mark! Yeah, all from the web. I'm getting more and more disgusted by the things I find though.

ah, this still looks great. Just between you and me, I have a seriously low tolerance for photocomics, but this is more than that. You've got good page composition and other fancy schmancy art terms going on here and the result is GOOD.

cool stuff gary,

glad you had time to make something this year :) some of these photos are a little disturbing, you mustve been scrounging the under-belly of the web. The photos make it seem quite voyeuristic and dark.

hope you get your work done :)
