C. Schlatter: Blancmange a'la Rupert: Adelaide [Done]

Postby DJ Paradroid on Sun Jun 11, 2006 8:31 am

GAH! My name and comic title are too long!
Name: Chris Schlatter
Comic Name: Blancmange a'la Rupert
Location: Adelaide
Status: DONE.

OK, so now that I'm out of Connell's login, let's try this again.

Well, it's done. After all of the hallucinations of actual talent, and fuelled on Coca Cola alone, I'm done. So now, I will post the comics in fours, I suppose. I would have gone the whole 24, but I said everything I needed to after 16, so that's good too. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed the cramps and eye strain, and general antisocial behaviour.

Well, that's my tale. I took a shining to Rupert in the end - I thought he'd be a plain old grouch, but there ended up being a little depth there, even if it's Kiddy Pool Deep.

Ciaolaters, people. Have to go keep an eye on Connell, so he doesn't pass out.

Also, any intellectual property of Namco, Nintendo, and whomever else I may have filched from, thank you, and I'm far too unimportant to sue.

I miss Pac-Man (or should that be strange yellow chomping man who merely resembles Pac-Man but is not in fact Pac-Man to avoid litigation?)

(If anyone saw the Ghost of this message, it's because a certain gentleman didn't log-out. Tch.)

Thanks, maggie.

And jacen_c, the game was in fact called PuckMan in Japan. The American name was derived from paku-paku: slang that means "to eat". Of course, that's only if I used him. Which I didn't. /stares at the shadows/ Damn Namco Ninjas...

Thanks xaverlex. Just a shame its creation wasn't a result of being partially delirious.

You know, out of all the comics featuring an avocado, this one has made me want to have some... I think it may have been the advertisement... they know where I live! :(

Seriously though, I love this one... and it works so nicely as a tie in to the PacMan Live Action Movie...

Survival was made possible by monday being a day of almost complete decompression.

Also, your comic reminds me I have not had avacado for a long time. I am possibly about to die then.

awesome death scenes. wonderful frenchy banter. i think my favourite detail was pac-man's pellet thingy sitting on a coaster. GOLD.

Heh heh, it's always the little details that add so much to a comic, I think. What else would have have in a pub, after all.

And yes, we went to school together. There aren't all that many Chris Schlatters out there, let alone in Australia. Heh.
