Hallo all again, I participated last year, and I'm in for it again. hopefully I'll be able to come up with something much better this time around. Started on 7:30 PST.

Alright, first page, as it were. I actually am up to the 8th, but I'm doing everything extremely rough to begin with, and will be re-detailing as time goes on, but here's a little taste, for what it's worth.

Alright, I've finished the artwork, now I'm scanning and lettering in waves.
The story seemed to come to a close at sixteen pages, so I decided not to push my luck and end it there. So here it is. They'll all be up within the next few hours.

Thanks a lot! I wish, in retrospect, that I'd put more work into it, but I've vowed to do another 24 hour comic in a few weeks, so I'll have to make up for it then. In the meantime, however; since I foolishly made plans for the weekend, this is the half-assed comic I came up with today. Enjoy!

THE END!

So it's not all that great, but I enjoyed myself doing it. And for 11 hours' work (Took a 5 hour nap), it's not all that bad, really, if I do say so myself. Won't be winning any awards (especially since I'm not Australian), but I'm glad to have participated in the contest.

Thanks for reading!

*clap clap* Bravo! I enjoyed it. :) And I think it's well worth fleshing out, maybe inking or finishing or whatnot one day. =D

Yeah, I'd love to redraw it properly one of these days, but as is, it's going to go onto my webpage, where I can archive it and show people just how noncommital I am about my work. Thanks a lot for reading it; I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did, making it.

Cheers!

16 pages in 11 hours is plenty impressive!

This was a really fun read, it's obvious you enjoyed putting it together. :D

"You made an evil hydrangea?"

heh. this was visually very pleasing, and entertaining too. stupid aliens ...

I always knew there were kind-hearted pirates out there somewhere, not just in Gilbert and Sullivan.

Nice. very nice. I love the kind of modular little figurine style characters, very cool.
And the twist was killer.
