Hello to everyone out there. this is my first 24 hour comic experience. I was gonna do it last year but i went on holiday a week before it. i plan to start at 10 30 (perth time...so thats in bout half an hour) but before i begin i thought id just seek some clarification. 1. Do i have to use ALL th random items ie. all 3 of things in each category, or just one from each?

so anyway im going it alone and im in for th long 24 page haul. ive currently been up for 36 hours already due to me having to finsh my final assignment for uni...and now that its over theres no time for sleep. "Why not do it later??" well sundays i go to church and while i know god wont kill me if i dont go i still like to get along ....and monday...i work.

I dont really know wot my story is yet but ive got some images in my mind and the title "Momentum" seems appropriate...but it may well change as the story develops.

im 21 years old, 36 hours down on sleep and ive got a cupboard of food just ready to keep me going. (i even bought some weird coffee in a can drink!). So heres to 10 30 and good luck everyone.

ps. if im doin anythin wrong with th way i post or anything at all please let me know

You just need to use one Object, one Dialogue item and one Character type- although if your up for the challenge you can try to use all three of each group.

oh man im way behind already!! had some real issues with scanning n stuff....ive scanned it but ive lost some of th finer pencil details. wen i scanned it as a gray(16 bit) i couldnt use any thing on th image...but wen i did it regular grey (which lost the deetail) i could work on it??any help is appreciated.
anyway ive got lots of catching up to do but heres page one. hope it works out. (im no tech genius)

edit** ive posted th page again now that ive worked out th scaner so wot u see is the way it should be.

oh man i fell asleep and im only 2 pages in! ive been up for about 39 hours now and im just fallin asleep at th table. so i cant do th 24 pages. instead im gonna cut to the chase after this page. ill keep goin as long as i can but im fading fast. Hang in there everyone else.

oh, man. I don't want to be party to encouraging anyone to stay up 40 or more hours! :/
My suggestion is, get some sleep now (a good 8 or so) and come back and do as many pages as you can in the remaining time (you could still pull in 16 pages, I bet!).
Nap, off to church, and catch up on sleep sunday arvo.

im back and im feeling refreshed after a much needed rest (thanks for th advice maggie ...so its time for some action. its ttime to get th momentum going.

AND!! i figured out my scanner!! so i think ill edit previous posts and post the images again so they look better (at least i hope they look better!!) anyway heres page three.

ps. to caleb- i go to curtin...studying film and tv and creative advertising...or at least i was.

man my story is pretty fluid right now. eg. ive decided that he's got a cybernetic arm (which he didnt hav in th previous page!!) oh well its alright. i dont even know wots gonna happen...he's gonna kill people. i know that much. well see. im also gonna try p[ut in some of th items (even tho i aint gonna b eligible for a prize anymore. he he)

ah a journo student hey?? well in case u arent aware yet...there seemed to b an unofficial rivalry between th journos and us film n tv students or 'tv kids' as one journo put it. my friend was a journo n he filled me in on some of th goss. n th journos i worked with were quite...aggravating (BUT LET NOT GENERALISE!! he he.) well im sure one of th good ones anyway since ur doin performaing arts and ur into comics....but keep th rivalry alive!! go dack a tv kid its okay i give u permission he he...

so by th way are u doin a comic? i havnt taken much time to look at th forum.
