Postby Jo B 1 on Sun Jun 12, 2005 3:45 pm

This is THE best comic I have seen here so far - it has everything and can be read in any language - excellent - loved it (gush, gush). See you on DA :)

So not only are you a fantastic award winning artist, but you're also able to do it really bloody fast...

The reasons to eat your brain just keep piling up you know...

Yeah the first time I looked at the spaceship, all I had in my mind was "Laputa : Episode 2"

Amazing. This really reminded me of some of the stories and styles in Image Comics' 'Flight' anthology. Only better. The design work is phenomenal. The layouts, the costume designs, everything...

If people had dreams like this, who'd ever wake up?

Wow. Cool. Bee-you-tiful.

And there's no getting away from the Ghibli comparisons :)

Amazingly amazing. Easily one of my favourites.

At Komala's, we were talking about how doing a 24-hour comic makes it immediately clear to a cartoonist -- and, later, his audience -- what aspects of the artform he's mastered, and what he hasn't. Reading your entry, I wondered, "What the hell has this guy got left to learn??" So congratulations on the comic, of course -- but also on having developed such impressive cartooning ability. You must have worked very, very hard.

A question: Did you have any reference materials at hand, when you drew this wonderful thing?

Thanks for the complement Pat :D I wonder if you remember me, I was that Asian guy in the cap hanging out with Oztaku @ Supanova...

Reference materials? Only some doodles I've done in the past during boring lectures.
