Post your entries (and queries) in this here thread...

Entries close May 31

Everyone who submits an entry should PM me the next months terms by that date, whether they think they will win or not so that I can put June up as soon as possible.

Volume 2 will be for sale this year some time.

Don't forget that if you won last year - I need your strips for Vol. 2. PM me for my address if you want to send a CD or copy of your strip. Email me at mikedelight at gmail.com if you want to email your strip to me. At least 300 DPI thanks.

Heh heh. Love it. It's like those people who can't hold a conversation but can recite entire scenes of dialogue at you after seeing a movie. 'I know it was funny! I was THERE! And you do a crappy impression! That's just your own voice! ...Now you've ruined it for me...'

Thanks for giving him what for, Jules... :p

Yeah, I hate those kinda people... heh... heh

There is an element of irony here - being an ex-DVD reviewer I felt it was time to give myself what for... the guy in the pic is me. (The one with the pretentious ponytail, not the tall one).

I totally don't do that whole conversation thing though - but one weekend with a table at Supanova will show anyone there's thousands of those kinda dorks out there.

So much for posting my entry early so I wouldn't run out of time before I went on a biz trip to Sydney.
Was hoping someone somehow woulda jumped in to compete by now!

Anyone? Anyone? Sigh.

"fart out" sounds about right.

I haven't entered this in months now, and wandering back here to get all excited about the 24 hour challenge for another year I saw a competition in need! So I churned out this quick one.

Good going guys.

This is as far as I got. It's been a busy month (just spent the last week on the end of a jackhammer digging fence holes for our backyard)

I'll post the poll in the morning in case there are any surprise(d) last minute entries.

Love the expression on his face... so mournful and full of lost longing. Also, the genetically accurate teddy bear is frightening.

Love the Haunted Circus stuff - went and checked the old ones on yer blog the uvver day. love how they say much in what probably took you five minutes to draw up (just don't tell me you labour over each for days because I'll be embarrassed).

Was hoping fer last minute competitionals but looks like it's jus' me and the Philosophizer Caleb. (Good luck by the way bro).

My movie quote is from Alien, cause it was the first movie I thought of. Godbless IMDB's quote section.

Nice ones, guys. :)

Cactus, your robot guy looks like Carl from http://www.thinkingapeblues.com/ ! hehe
(which I'm sure you've never seen - must be some archetype somewhere you're both tapped in to)

That's okay Cactus. People have been later then you! Including me getting this poll up.

I only just noticed that the theme for this month was in fact 'Aliens' and not 'Alienation' as I spent the month thinking it was! (hence the lack of aliens and the surplus of alienation in my attempt)
