Here are some page samples from penciller Roland Bird for the project The Wraith/Shadowflame/Johnny Saturn: Curse of the Cortes Stone, a War of the Independents crossover which is set to go on sale later this year. Not sure if the book will be finished by the time of the Sydney Supanova, but if not, I'll have plenty of finished samples on show for people who visit the Trinity Comics table. Thank you kindly. This should be out around the middle of the year, but could well be later in the year as well. All depends on the release schedule of the core War of the Independents series. I'll have, at the very least, finished page samples from this book on display at the Sydney Supanova, as well as a myriad other stuff to show off.

Who's inking?
Just one thing I'd like to point out. On page 7 in the last panel the skeleton guy's forearm is wrong. The bone on the outside of the elbow should come down to the outside of his wrist with the other bone crossing over the other way. Nothing big but it just jumped out at me

Seeing as the War of the Independents series will be slightly delayed (due to an issue with Diamond), The Wraith/Shadowflame/Johnny Saturn: Curse of the Cortes Stone tie-in issue will therefore not be ready by the Sydney Supanova. However, I'll have page samples printed up from the issue so people can still get a look-see at what I think is an amazing looking comic book. Come on over to the Trinity Comics table in Artist's Alley to check it out there.
