Looking good. I really like that last page. What do you draw on? Are these panels drawn separate, then comped together in a graphics program?

Thanks Lucid,

Yeah they were. I ordinarily work on A3 220gsm cartridge paper, but didn't have access to my drawing board for a while, so I did the panels individually on ordinary copy paper (it's what was available at work, you see) and then complied them in good old Photoshop. I intend to clean up the edges in the same program.

Shit, these are bloody lovely, Mr. Wells.
I first opened the page and was delighted by the detail, not noting who had posted them. I scrolled down reading comments and saw that you were the artists and surprised. Now that is meant to sound like a compliment, so please take it as one, Colin. Looks as though you've been putting plenty of ground work in - and your eyes have improved! :^)
Well done mate.
Cheers,
Paul.

Thanks Paul,

Yeah, thanks to some constructive feedback I;ve gotten lately, mainly from Andy Law, I've changed how I build my images from the ground up, and I think it's certainly working for me.

Thanks Andy!

Well done, though you need to be careful about doing 'upshots' of faces ... as they're notoriously difficult to get right. Check out Gil Kane as he was the master of it.
