Sketchbook with beer stains

Postby Neville Howard on Wed Nov 03, 2010 11:36 am

Long time no post, and based on comments I got at Armageddon, people actually look, so without further a due, here's some recent sketches - mostly for random sketch challenges around the web :

These are fantastic! I love the Calvin and Hobbes one in particular. :|>

There's some pretty damn cool stuff here, mate - love the C&H one too, but the rocketeer-style guy takes the cake for me - great combo of character and composition!

Hey Neville,

great to meet you again at Armageddon and great to see you're doing some work too. I really like the middle one.

Dude, those are sweet! The linework is tight and crisp and love the idea for the Poison Ivy pose (is the colour one pencil / markers?). Always nice to see someone having a crack at architecture and pulling it off, has a really nice feel to it.

Tom, haha, it's because of our conversation that I dusted off my Pulp Faction login (or rebooted it at least). Cheers for having a look!

Matt, thanks mate. I won't say I pulled off the architecture piece, especially with the tram looking to be going the speed of light, haha. Think Marty McFly could be on there. The Poison Ivy colours was CS5, I just played around a bit with it really!

Comicjam page I recently did for Ten Ton webcomic!

Edit - not sure how to post so it doesn't get cut off, so you can see the whole page here http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e140/PHREAKPHREAK/Page4TTJ2sml.jpg
