That sailor moon pic is kind of redundant since the show itself is soft porn. Nice though. I can't figure out how to draw hot girls. It somehow eludes me, and they all end up looking demented.

Doing it for housewives everywhere...

Postby Li'l Sketchy on Thu Feb 09, 2006 4:20 pm

Since I suggested Marge... Here's my attempt at 'realifying' the Great American Mom.

:D

Oh, and blue hair is too 'granny', so I made it blue/black. 'Certainly officer, you can see my artistic licence'...

These are all great by the way. Watching with interest. ;)

Very cool, galaxian.

I was informed today that Leela is a definite for my Penthouse pinups. So it's going to be interesting rendering her realistically.

Now that's a sexy Leela.

Now here's one I like to call 'Betty's Revenge'...

(btw... her other arm is RIGHT behind the other one. Freaky, I know, but there you have it...)

Troy- You spend too much time watching cartoons with your kid right?
Mr Wahl- delightful as always.
li'l Sketchy- Nicely done. After translating her to more realistic looks, you realise just how ridiculous looking she is ay? I mean, the hair, the pearls, the dress, who wouls look like that really.
Galaxian- That's hot.
Li'l Sketchy again- yay, someone did the Betty VS Veronica pillow fight.
maybe they're fighting cause they stole each others right arm? ;)

Actually, I thoguht Marge looked more like Bride of Frankenstein... How do you work with yellow skin and 3 feet of beehive hair?

Some of these are pretty awesome. And yeah, Chris, freaky cyclops chicks are pretty hard to make sexy. This is the reason why Leela can't get a date with anyone other than Fry.
Excellent work on Smurfette though.

I think I like Chris' westernised Sailor Moon. She's sexy, instead of just getting her kit off, which is what the Japanese one suffered from. Sure, it was gratuitous nudity by our standards, but considering this comes from a country where most people still use communal nude bathing houses if they want a bath (bath, not shower), it's not exactly out of the ordinary that a cartoon girl would get naked either.

Troy's Ariel is pretty good, although when she has legs, it just doesn't seem right. That being said, the fishtail in itself is kind of unnappealing and reminds me that people used to have sex with dugongs, "thinking" they were mermaids. How drunk do you have to be to make THAT mistake?
As for Kim Possible, how old is she meant to be anyway? Or is she just obscenely anorexic? I've seen pics and watched the show a couple of times. She just doesn't seem sexy at all.

I think I said it in the other thread, it's hard to make the characters sexy if they don't exude some kind of sexuality in the first place.
With that being said, I'd love to join in with you guys, but I simply can't compete with this kind of quality, so my attempts at making something look sexy would be so utterly bad.

Oh, and if people want a sexed up Betty from Archie Comics, look up Cherry Poptart.

Avi - heh, yeah parenting is like being in captivity, and after a while even cartoon characters start to look good!! (That and the girls from Hi 5!!) As to Kim; I just randomly grabbed her because was looking for a bit of a theme - but she just didn't turn out to be sexy at all! They do draw her quite exaggerated, a style i never seem to be able to pull off - and in my defense i churned all these out in one evening. I think I used up all the sexy on Ariel! (and yes there was no way I was doing the tail!)

I was going to do Jasmine (and may still do at my girlfreind's prompting!) - it's hard NOT to make her hot. Want to have a go at a human version of Minerva Mink also - I can't believe the stuff they get away with in that cartoon!

BUT - big disclaimer - this is all just a bit of fun and half the main reason I'm doing this is the funny-because-it's-wrong element! Though Chris' stuff is so damn lifelike it definately belongs in Penthouse!

Caanan - thank you for answering the call for lingerie pillow fights!!

Minnerva Mink? Wasn't she Peppe LePew's slutty neice or something? Like the only one in TinyToons that had no clothing at all, if I recall.

What about April O'Niel from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
