The more I draw this pretty much stream-of-consciousness comic the more I wonder what this says about me. That I am a jerk who doesn't feel remorse for kidnapping children probably.

Oh, question for anyone who wanders by - do we have to use our real names in the forum thread titles or can it be our internet/pen name? "Samantha Calcraft" is generally not a name I use on the internet at all.

If I manage to get this done, I think I'll buy myself a nice art book as a reward...

Also, I'm really appreciating this mermaid's characterisation. Plus, "My uncle Nigel was drowned by mermaids" - so wrong, so funny!

Hahaha. xD I'm sad that I didn't manage to get a cover page or the inking done but happy that I got my 8 hours sleep! Even though I started late! I think it's a fair trade off. ALSO I'm really happy I managed to work in my 11AM /and/ 11PM words (vibrations, box, worker), heheh, that was kind of a personal goal to keep me interested.

Finally I have time to check out the other entries! Can't wait for the winners to be announced.
