I totally failed :( Totally, totally failed. My heart wasn't in it this year...

I drafted a 24-page story (which was flexible enough to drop to 16 pages if I wanted) and had about 14 pages laid out in the first four hours or so, then had to go out for dinner. Came home, felt tired and a cold coming on so I bailed.

I chose to work digitally this year because I was hoping that I'd be able to work on my laptop over dinner, but in the end it held me back instead of helping me.

I'll see what scraps I have that are presentable enough to share.

My experience's been that if I work digital, DON'T use a laptop. For me the screen's too small and the laptop I have not powerful enough. Mind you this year I finally bought myself a Wacom Bamboo. Results were mixed, but it's heaps better than what I was using before.

For me the big issue was getting a new dog and going to a gig Friday night (Hanzel & Gretyl). Gasp, well at least it wasn't a black out. I think you should do what I did in 2007, do a 24 page comic anyway and post it here.

One page, but a great page! It's one more page of 24 Hour Comics than I've ever done, so good on you for trying!

Cheers,
