Whoo hoo, all done! Feeling pretty excited, even though the product ain't that great, I feel like I've achieved something.

I was tempted to make this a pretty gritty story but the rhyme wasn't going that way and the whole point of going with a rhyming story was to just let it lead me through the script sentence by sentence instead of planning it out.

Oh and an obligatory, "It rhymes so it must be true" remark.

Ah this is adorable- the style works so well- it looks just like a little picture book. I love how you've done something so different with the words! :|>

Loved it! Now release it as a children's book and become a millionaire!
What, a sig? I'll get to that later.

Congrats on getting this finished! =D I love how it ends with the hint of the original nursery rhyme.

Well done! Rhyming is hard to keep, I find, but you found your rhythm and it works. I think the simplicity of the art was an advantage not just in time but because it went well with the nature of the text. Nice one!

Murky Merc + jing: Thanks! I knew I wasn't going to be able to pull out something art-tastic with this one, so I had to channel all my wits into the script :)

Terragent: Thanks for being support staff :D

plufim: no u

onegreyelephant: I was totally pushing the whole coming-of-age genre, but I didn't even realise the environmental aspect. Thanks for your comment!

Chuc: I'm so glad I had somewhere to go to. I'm usually writing aimlessly and then butt into the end of the allotted pages or write myself into a corner or just have loose ends that can't possibly be tied up. This time I had had the nursery rhyme to follow which gave me a start and an end - all I had to do was to write the stuff to go between. Maybe next time I'll try to do the same again - think of an ending and then write towards it, instead of thinking of a concept with a totally open end.
