Well, after not participating for the past two years, I am keen to be a part of Comikaze again this year! Unfortunately, I foolishly accepted a lot of invitations to events this weekend, meaning that I don't have a continuous 24 hours spare. So! My somewhat ambitious plan is to do a separate 8-page comic each day of the weekend, hopefully allowing me time to meet all my other commitments as well. We'll see how that pans out...

Today will be the real test, as I have the busiest schedule to deal with. How quickly can I do 8 pages? How late will my friends allow me to be at their events before they shun me? My words are empirical, sterling and named. Let's begin!

Heh, Craig, I did consider subverting the reader's expectations and not having there be anyone behind him, but in the end I went with the cliché.

And at this point I really need to get to one of my prior engagements, so no updates for a while. I will spend the time trying to think of a way to wrap this up in three pages, and how I can work in the final word, and ways in which I can get pages done faster. Hopefully I will have an answer to all of these before 10:43 tomorrow morning!

Alrighty then. I went to a 21st for four hours, came home and wrote the rest of the story and drew half of this page, then went to a 30th for an hour and a half, realised I had forgotten to include the third key word, came home, rewrote some of the script, and finished this page. Without further ado: page 6!
