Given that one of my favorite phrases is "you're probably wondering why I gathered you all here tonight...one of you is a murderer!", I simply loved this off the rails detective story. If Agatha Christie and Peter Seller's had a love child, it would resemble this comic.

This one was a really fun read, I loved all of the cliche murder motives being thrown out and subsequently brushed aside with the clown of a detective completely unfazed by his own incompetence!

I have a soft spot for old fashioned murder mysteries ... especially when someone shakes them by the ankles to watch the silliness fall out.

I had an odd thought about this comic today while I was out - you could use the same idea on an episode of House! ;) You comic has left an impression on me. :)

House bears more resemblance to one Holmes, but it is true, they tend to bumble through the episodes with a lot of ideas that come up short!

The typical House episode has the team getting it "almost right" repeatedly, until a chance event or comment sets Houses eyes rolling and he has insight. The paralell with Holmes was always deliberate, which is why Wilson is a Watson equivalent in many ways. I should imagine that if either House or Holmes were real people, they'd be very hard to live with, or be close friends with.
