OK it's taken a while I know but only so much one man can do...

Time to pick the winners of our little shindig. Unfortunately no whitegoods or Carribean trips on the prize list but plenty of great contributions from our community and the Australian comics industry at large.

Top prize is from our lifetime supporter Supanova http://www.supanova.com.au/. If you haven't been before now's your chance with the prize being your own table in Artists Alley at the show of your choice, including vendor passes. This will be selected from the top 24 page comics by our team of elite judges of highly regarded Australian comic producers. Big thanks again to Daniel and Tim for thier ongoing generousity.

The top category winners - being 24 page General, Mature, and Manga - will each receive a 25 copy high quality print run from Black House Comics (170GSM colour covers, 100 GSM b&w interior). For those you've yet to see some of the great work being produced by this local publisher head on over to http://www.blackhousecomics.com/black-house-comics.html. In addition - general category winners receive art supplies courtesy of yours truly at http://tomkattcomics.blogspot.com/ and manga category winner receives a voucher from regular sponsors http://mangaarts.com.au/ - suppliers of great drawing kit for all us Japanophiles :D Mature category winner also receives the hardcore pack of 'Stark Reality' graphic novels from local madman Ben Byrne http://kranburn.thewebcomic.com/ (just one of his many comics!).

For the 16-23 page categories - a gift pack of 'Billy Demon Slayer' comics thanks to loooong time Aussie creator Hayden - http://www.billydemonslayer.com/?act=comics for the general category. Mature category winner receives the last of the Something Weird compilation packs from yours truly. Finally the Manga winner will receive a gift pack of new publications 'Rocksalt' plus 'subSEQUENCE' and a warm winter hoodie from patron saint of Aussie manga - Avi (Oztaku) http://oztaku.com/
