On the home stretch now...and with a bit of colour to boot. Behold, the villian of this piece finally revealed...

Sorry about the sideways thing, but it was the only way to fit it on screen!

This is just like real life except Bertie Beetles only 50c? I can't suspend my disbelief that far.
Great job!

Awesome work Jacen - nothing like an exploding Grugg to finish a story off! I was a bit sore about being Bride of Frankenstein, but at least I'm not Jabba...

That was a crack up! Nice work :) Gruggy the Hutt.. he heh

I actually do have that outfit at home too - except I don't have a goatee, I only grew that to dress as Jafar... (long story) :D

Thanks every for the kind comments...that's the one problem with this competition with all the drawing, writing, scanning, posting you never have enough time, but you SO wanna check out everyone's work when you do post...and respond to the comments. I was thinking next year I might take the Tuesday off work and do two (2) 24hr challenges back to back...gotta keep pushing the limits.

I'd also like to add the disclaimer that no Gruggs or McLeod's were actually killed in the making of the story....but man I polished off some Bertie Beetles....I don't know if it's the cheap chocolate or the rice crispies, but they went down a treat.

And I'm against product *cough*Pepsi Max*cough* placing!

That is all...time to read everyone's wonderful entries

Oh, Jacen... THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER!!!!!!!! :D

I laughed out loud so much I nearly choked to death.
I'm both honoured and flattered by this.
Definitely flattered since you drew me with an actual waist in the comic. ;)
Pure genius!

Thanks Maggie

As someone who cannot see past his waistline thanks to comics, Bertie Beetles, Pepsi Max and Venture Bros Dvds, it's the least I can do to lay "waist" to my forum friends. I only hope Grug has a sense of humour...I'd hate to be the one to make him snap!

No problemo. The Challenge just wasn't the same without you and Jessica competing...and I did promise to include a homage to the W.A Crew who were with us in spirits...*hic*!

You made me Indie? How did you know I liked nonsensical plots and whips so much?!?
:D

I'm thinking the annual forum member mashup is becoming something of a tradition with you Jacen.
Can't wait to see what next year's is like.
