If you need something earlier just let me know via pm and I'll sort something out for you.

Nah, that's cool. I just remember being impatient last year and the wait killing me.
Goodnight and good luck everybody!

Good morning boys and girls, what a lovely day to stay indoors for 24 hours and torture ourselves hunched over a desk or computer! Thought I'd share my workspace with everyone this morning:

Would love to see some pictures of everyone else's desks in preparation for today.

(Plus, I wanted to check that I had the width correct for my page template)

I can't seem to start a new thread in the mature section. Thought it might be the button just hadn't loaded. Wondering if it's just me.

Looks like Ive has faced his first "something isn't set right" hurdle and passed with flying colours. =D Rock on, dude. :D
And looks like everything's running as it should *knock wood*. Excellent! =D

So... I'm about to have a shower and hit the hay so I can get up at 4:30am, stumble into a cab at 5am, back up and figure out where the door is at 5:01am, enter a cab, and go to the airport.

I am SUPER-stoked to know that when I get to my hotel tomorrow there's going to be all this awesome comic art waiting for me. See you 'tomorrow'.

Turn it out, y'all! *excited*

IS IT TOO LATE TO REGISTER???

Postby hannijules on Sat Jun 07, 2008 9:48 pm

Time here is now Saturday 9:47pm.

I didn't think I'd be able to join in this year as I'm now a paid editorial cartoonist (Cool!) and it's a daily job.

Like EVERY day, you know?

Anyways, I think I wanna go for it having seen the fun everyone else is having - is it too late to register?

I may still not be able to go for it, but I'd like to know either way.

No problems Jules - feel free to jump in - you're already registered on the forums anyway. I'll have new random words up in 10 minutes so if you want to leap in with those - go for it!

Thanks for the update Troy, but alas, with heavy-heart, I must decline your good faith after all.

I SOooooooo want to do it again. I loved it so much the last two years and it'll be a whole nother year to wait now I can't do it this weekend.

I've got a BIG client on the hook though and the work will secure me a considerable contract and I need to reel that client in. They're big and they have money and I could use the security of the gig. (Being a dad now an' all too).
If it were next or even last weekend I would have said 'Hell YEAH!' but this is pretty important to my career at present. Alas, C'est la vie, and all that.

I'm so enamoured with you guys for all your ongoing work though. In truth I've been away from PF for a long time while I moved location and got my career up again in a new city. Hopefully I can start coming back a bit more often now things are settling.

Good luck to all! I wish I were among you.

Ok...I'm slightly confused. Do I need to include EACH batch of words that have been posted so far? Or if I were to say start at 3 (which...hey...coincedence) Do I just use the 3pm words. Presuming that there is a batch of 3pm words. And that I'm not to late to enter. Stupid need to have a real job *shakes fist at passing cloud*
