Canberra Meets 2009

So. It looks like not much goes on here in terms of meet ups?
Having moved back from over seas to my home town just out Canberra and having missed the Melbourne meets a great deal, I'm keen to get something happening regularly here.
What is a good day for everyone? Where's a good place?
I would suggest the last Sunday of every month at the Phoenix or Wig and Pen.
What are your thoughts Canberrans?

My thoughts:

Phoenix is a great bar, but too dark for drawing maybe? Most folks don't draw a lot at these meetings but I love sittin around drawing the whole time.

Last Sunday of every month sounds fine. Long time til the next one though! I'm happy to have them any day of any weekend.

Any day of the month would suit me too. I suggested the last day of the month so that I might get the best of both worlds as I'm going to try and time my visits down to Melbourne for their meet day. But if we want to get on with it the first Sunday of the month means we can get right to it.
The Phoenix is a bit dark, it's true. I've never drawn at meets before but I might as well. How about the Wig then? It's got that part that curves around and is out of the way.
I'm not a facebook user myself. My email and pulpfaction is about the most I can handle in internet... stuff.
If you know of anyone who would be interested let them know. Also, should we manage to meet up and it seems like a good thing I'll go and put up an add at the art school.
