Thanks for the "meh" option. My work here is done.

I haven't bought it, but I did sit and look at it at David Jones one day. It's on my list of things I need to buy.

I'd love to see someone do American Gods as a comic. I would personally like to do 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, not that it hasn't been done before. I'm just sayin...

Well, the really obvious choice would be the Discworld series, illustrated in the same style as the book covers.

However, I'd love to see David Brin's Uplift and Piers Anthony's Companions of Xanth series done as graphic novels.

I was one of those kids who went through school clutching a copy of The Lord of the Rings - sad but true. I sent a sample package of illos to the publisher and received a nice letter back from Rayner Unwin telling me that Bakshi had the rights and was making a film of the book - also sad but true.

Anyway, there's quite a few books I'd be keen to adapt into comics form now, but one I'd nominate is Yann Martel's Life of Pi. I can just imagine how to layout the pages for that - the zoo, the sea, Richard Parker the tiger, delusions - wonderful!

Cheers,

Ian T.

Good question

The Illuminatus trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson & Robert Shea (although bits have been ripped off in a few comics already, most of it's still fresh).

Anything by John Wyndham (particularly his quirky little short stories, especially the early ones).

Also, some Jorge Luis Borges stories would make excellent comics, I'm sure.
