Hi folks,

Katie Huang (of Generation fame) is starting up a one-day convention centred around anime, manga, games and pop culture. It'll be held on 18 August at the UNSW Roundhouse. If selling to the manga crowd is your thing, stay tuned for artist alley prices as they should be pretty affordable!

Details are a bit patchy so far but their site is up now: http://www.smash.org.au/

This sounds promising. Is there anything more of the event you can tell us about here?

Ahhh...if it's a manga event, then I can't go, as I'm a comic creator, not a manga creator.

That's a shame, I would have been happy to contribute to this before.
