Fairly craptacular so far.

I know there are a lot of good people here. Problem is that a) it's manga and b) the good people get more money than this for the amount of work that's being requested.
It really is one of those "do it for the love" types of jobs... Although there's a guarantee of at least 7,000 people seeing this work, as that's how many tickets are available for the event this year.

Hmmm, in terms of Aussie manga I don't think my networks yield more than yours. You're much more of a manga king. It might be worthwhile inviting artists to respond if you haven't got a good field. The only people I can think of that wouldn't be known to you are wicked good artists in the UK and USA.
