Armageddon - Artist Aley prices, rules etc

Hey Guys
Just finished listening to the #2 Podcast and one of the main questions that arose were regarding Artist Alley prices and rules.
Firstly, the Creator area in the event will be called something like ‘The Aussie Comic Zone’; I have never under stood why these things are called Artists Alleys, when Writers attend as well?
Any how, the cost and breakdown for the creator areas is as follows
- Includes one Table (1.6m in width), one chair and limited partition space for display, plus listing on the event web site in the local comic creator page. – Cost $100.
Additional passes for sharing with other creators of your work will be available upon request, provided they are on the same table and you are working together.
I have attached a booking form to give you the exact details as we are presenting them to exhibitors

Rules on content.
We are happy for anything to be showcased to the public and will not be limiting what you display, HOWEVER, material that is unsuitable for children, should be kept out of their reach and no pornographic work should be openly displayed. I think that’s just common sense.
At the last Auckland Armageddon we had complaint re a comic called ‘Sally fucks horses’ for obvious reasons, this was an issue.
Adult orientated stuff is fine; just make sure that it is shown to the right age group.

Our number one goal with the Local comic area is to promote your work to a new audience as well as reaching those already interested, something that Armageddon does exceptionally well.

Web promotion of attendees.
Once you are booked in to attend, we will be happy to add you to the event web site (currently finishing building www.armageddonexpo.com ) to promote your presence at the expo and give you an early push.
Additionally, if you are attending other events before or after the expo, please let us know and we are happy to promote those for you as well.
