Woohoo! Tis but a day away!
I get the feeling that a lot of creators think these things are a chore, but I bloody love 'em. I'd take the chance to do these things at any time over my full time job (jizz mopper).
Here's what I'm looking forward to:
-Grabbing Bobby N.'s new book. Simply can't wait.
-Grabbing Jason Franks’ latest Kagemono. I've seen what this man has gone through getting this baby together. Each one has gotten stronger so this should be a delightful read.
-Seeing all the local creators showcasing their works.
-Selling and signing my work and talking to genuinely interested people.
-The atmosphere. Half the fun of these things is the people watching.
-Meeting some more celebs. Last year I had The Greatest American Hero and Ernie Hudson (who I knew from The Crow, not Ghostbusters) at my booth.
Things I'm not looking forward to:
-Post Con (Sunday night) drinks where all the creators will be drinking beers…and bagging me out cause I’ll be on the lemon lime and bitters (only 2 weeks of Ocsober to go! Thank Christ.).
See ya there guys!
