Hi.

The ranks are automatic. They start after your 3rd post (when you become a 'citizen' - so one more post and you're on your way) and then quickly rise through sidekick, hero, superhero, etc.
Once past superhero, it takes a little longer to get to Super Genius and Evil Genius and Science Hero. And... then... well, someone has to reach the next one before I can say what it is. heh There are 10 levels in all (plus some extra ones I've bestowed on people who've earned special dispensation for good or evil deeds done here).

New here too... dicovered this site t5 days after the 24 hour challenge, so I'll just say I wish I could say something about it.
Anyways I plan to get a webcomic up and running... after I finish the inconveniencies of scripting... erk.

Welcome. We hope you'll all hang around and join in the fun.
We have members who've only just started reading comics all the way around to members who've been producing comics for decades. So there are people of all interests and loves, from readers to critics to publishers and creators (including channandeller up there who is the artist and co-creator on Azerath).

well im new here [so thanks for the welcome i know it was for me and me only] ive already done my usual attention seeking crap and created my very own intro thread so read that instead its much better than what i wrote here [speaking to self: good one man start out on these forums sounding like a jerk. how are you gonna go back in time and win the 24 hour thing now?]

Hey there lads and lasses of the comic cosmos. I'm a noob too, and so I say hello and tip my cap. I'm from Melbourne and part of the Pleasant Productions group. But more about that in the Talk: Aussie comics section. I hope to puncture the scene and enjoy the settings on this forum. I went to Doujicon and that's where I became enthralled by our little but strong comics scene of Aus. May we be awesome forever.
