I would like to make a case for LAC as Achievement of the Year, Graeme McDonald as writer of the year and most especially Dave Cunning for Ledger of Honour.

Dave has, with Local Act Comics, created a real opportunity for local creators to create and see their comics published, to help develop their talent, and what's more, reinvigorate the local marketplace. His dedication and drive should be recognised, and I can think of no better way to do it.
