I couldn't bring myself to go all out for the 24 hour challenge, so I would have done the same again.

I would have thought nobody would have touched my topics..but alas, you are all sickos and deviants..awsome.

Hopefully I have mine done by tonight, having quite a lot of trouble scripting it but I'm finally almost happy with the character designs. I have an extra criteria that came up because of a comment from Makepeace. It has made for an interesting combination of things.

I really like what you came up with their L'il Sketchy it is superb all rounder.

August Competition- "Jungle Love"

Postby jacen_c on Sun Aug 21, 2005 4:10 pm

Here's the first page for the August competition. I really had to compress the image to get
under the 190kb maximum size! Hope it still comes out okay!

Here's page two . Again the quality is pretty low due to the JPEG compression! Does anyone have any ideas how to getter a better image quality?

I'll never be able to watch my old tarzan films again. Johnny Weissmueler is ruined forever. :'(

Hello Makepeace,
Just wondering if the monthly challenge is open to the artistically challenged ?? can an entry just use stick figures, etc. or is it all about the art?

Having looked at the criteria and looking at different options. I'd expect photo comics are entirely acceptable along with anything else people can think of so long as it is black and white. Your stick figures will probably be better drawn than my entry this month I'm less than thrilled with how it's working out. Especially when it is competing against Lil Sketchy's work.

Black and White just makes it easier for me to print when the time comes. But before people start posting colour strips, keeping it black and white does keep every one on a level playing field.
