Post your entries (and queries) in this here thread...

Entries close April 30

Everyone who submits an entry should PM me the next months terms by that date, whether they think they will win or not so that I can putMay up as soon as possible.

Volume 1 of the Challenge Book is available for sale at this address http://www.makepeace.org.au/product_inf ... cts_id=471
Volume 2 will be for sale a hell of a lot quicker than Volume 1!

Don't forget that if you won last year - I need your strips for Vol. 2. PM me for my address if you want to send a CD or copy of your strip. Email me at mikedelight at gmail.com if you want to email your strip to me. At least 300 DPI thanks.

I forgot to make this topic a Global Announcement.

I've been meaning to find the time to do this all year but I've decided to have a go each challenge, each month. I obviously can't win as I usually know what the challenge will be before everyone else but let's face it - I need the practice! (All work and no comics makes Mikey a ... family man)

Before I post my entry for this month, I must apologise - the characters you are about to read were created many years ago when I was creating the branding for my business. I never anticipated that they would ever take on speaking roles, but with this month's inclusions they instantly came to mind and that's how this strip was born.

For anyone who hasn't seen the original Vending Machine in action, you can go and check it out at: www.julesfaber.com

Thanks for your indulgence.

Whew! ONE day to spare! YES...!

... anywho ... in the same spirit as my 'Boy Who Saw His Own Future', and 'The Boy Who Ate Sugar' stories, comes...

'The Chocolatier'.

Oh. And for any Shakespeare NUTS out there, I do know that's not the correct quote. Blame the Chocolate Shakespeare Company. Actually, no... blame the chocolate actor. Every rehearsal he got it right, and STILL stuffed it up on the day! Sigh... never work with children, animals, or chocolate...

Oh, and in case you missed it, the empty can is in panel 5, page 1. :D

Ha ha! You had to go there, didn't ya, Cactus! :p

Yeah, I love doing these sinister fairy tale rhymes. I have two more written. I'll do them one day. I actually wrote this at the start of the month... it just took me this long to find time to do anything about it.

Are you kidding me??? I can't choose between these!

It's like asking me to choose between white and dark chocolate. It can't be done!

man i reckon this part of the process is better than winning. seeing my piss-ant requirements turn into 2 awesome comics.

and although the answer to Maggies analogy is clearly mint chocolate i have to agree with what she's saying. can i vote twice?

Wee! Thanks, voters. In this comp though, there are no winners, only participants (although, not enough).

The real winners are the ones who get to read the entries. ;)
