WINNER FOR MARCH MONTHLY SEQUENTIAL ART COMPETITION

Postby makepeace on Thu Mar 01, 2007 12:14 pm

MARCH MONTHLY SEQUENTIAL ART SHOWCASE COMPETITION
as set by Februarys Winner 'Ushan' - as the previous months winner Ushan can still submit a comic but he cannot win.

The Theme: Invention
The Quote: "Did you see how she looked at you?"
The Things: A playing sound system of any sort;
Pages: 2 page maximum.
And Finally: Movement lines should be included somewhere.

Remember, this is your chance to appear in Volume 3 of a mini comic as well as grab some glory, have some fun, draw some comics and have a shot at the title of the 2007 Ultimate Monthly Sequential Artist (and Haberdasherer).

Post your entries (and queries) in this here thread...

Entries close March 31

Everyone who submits an entry should PM me the next months terms by that date, whether they think they will win or not so that I can put April up as soon as possible.

Volume 1 of the Challenge Book is available for sale at this address http://www.makepeace.org.au/product_inf ... cts_id=471
Volume 2 will be for sale a hell of a lot quicker than Volume 1!

Don't forget that if you won last year - I need your strips for Vol. 2. PM me for my address if you want to send a CD or copy of your strip. Email me at mikedelight at gmail.com if you want to email your strip to me. At least 300 DPI thanks.

The run is broken...I'm so glad that even without my feeble offerings, we got two excellent entries this month.

I've just completed a Monstar Easter Special (about six times the length of my usual webcomic) that involves zombie Jesus and the East Turd Bunnee- chock full of holiday cheer for Easter Saturday. On top of SPA Idol and the usual web comic issues, I'm spent.

Hopefully I'll crawl back on the Monthly Challenge cart this month.
