WILL YOUR CHARACTER BE THE NEXT PRIME MINISTER?

Postby neilmac on Fri Oct 13, 2006 6:20 pm

I just thought I'd start up a challenge. (although, this one isn't exactly a monthly.)

The general idea is to make a character, or one you have already incorporated into your comics (like Jacen's Monstar or Hayden's Billy the Demon Slayer), and make a one page ad (any number of panels) to promote your character for an the upcoming election.

We will eventually have votes to see who is our next Prime Minister!

Specifics:

Idea: Make an ad to promote your character for the next election.

Pages: 1.

Panels: 1 - 20 (although I don't think anyone will fit twenty panels on one page.)

Can be black and white or colour.

This challenge ends December 1 at midnight and voting will begin on December 2 to find out who will be our next prime minister! (To replace that stinking John Howard.)

Sounds like an idea- but only if the Grim Reaper from your web comic has a go!

Hell, I was thinking of using Simon Storm from Storm and Switch, but I can do the Grim Reaper.

Neil, instead of posting this in multiple sections of the forum, you could have just asked Maggie to make it a global announcement.

As for running for politics, my avatar was the mayor of a South Australian town called Whiteman for a while... He ran on an election campaign of da blingbling, yo!
Does that count?

I didn't think about that global announcement stuff...

It only counts if you enter this! But you can include that info in your ad.

From the office of Bone's O'Brien.

"It has become clear to me, that with the state of the country today, the people of the nation require better representation. Having lived for over 50 years and dead for quite a lot longer I think that I have the experience and wisdom to lead this country into the new millenium and possibly the next millenium too.

With that in mind, I throw my hat into the ring for the office of Prime Minister. In the following days my staff will begin distributing material however here is the first image for my campaign.

The best man for the job. No bones about it!"

If you're going to vote for just one arsehole this election, make sure it's a MONSTAR arsehole....
