Jacen,
I have always loved your stuff but this is hysterical - I laughed out loud! (I don't usually laugh out loud) - I feel glad I read it :)
Now I will read it again for stuff I may have missed!.

August Default Entry

Postby hannijules on Thu Aug 31, 2006 2:59 pm

Hi gang!

Here's my entry to the Monthly Sequential Contest. I really hope I'm not the only entry as winning by default kinda sucks.

Anyhoo - enjoy
Everything follows in order.

YAAAAAH, an entry! And an excellent one to boot!

Default or not, I would definately vote for "The Quail". Say, is that an air rifle in your crotch or are you just glad to see me.

I'll be submitting my final page tonight once I colour the dang thing. Anymore last minute entries around?

Noice work. Especially loved the write up on the Pidgeons.

This months contest has been extended until tomorrow evening (Friday Sept 1st) after much discussion between me, my 2 year old daughter and my 5 month old son. (and the person who asked for an extension to finish their last page)

That was the best page yet, Jacen! Some definite laughs there -- in fact, I believe you may have created a genuine 'Laff Riot' (yok! yok!)

Way better than my effort. You have too much time (quantum or otherwise) on your hands!

And we have a competition (phew!)

You may vote. Voting will go until Sunday evening when I go to bed. Good luck to the contestants and thank you for entering.

Congratulations also to Jacen for continuing his unbroken record of entering each month!

Thanks everyone who voted and thanks Le Blah for another cool interpretation of the guidelines.
As to Steve Irwin, well... that's just bizarre. Go here if you want to read something very interesting: http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/w ... 22801b.htm

You be the judge. (By the way, being stung in the heart by a stingray is pretty improbable to say the least, not to mention the fact they are rarely lethal). Could it be yet another urban legend regarding Steve's demise? Time will tell. :D

Bon Voyage Steve Irwin

Okay, looks like it's the real deal this time.

Farewell, Steve. May the fields of your Heaven overflow with creatures of all nations running free and wild.
