Okay... I don't wanna sound like some kind of person who doesn't know things, but I don't know what a 'silver age' comic is. The rest I think I understand... origin, splash... uh, coathanger, but 'silver age' is over my head.

60s, Pauk. Think Fantastic Four #1, Spider-Man #1, X-Men etc... The time of Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, etc...

Yah, I was thinking that. I've never read a 'silver age' comic, so I don't even know what makes them different from other 'ages'. Oh well. I'll give it a go anyway.

I guess you can either use a "silver age" style of art (Kirby/ Ditko etc) or maybe a "silver age" style of writing (back in the day when gay meant happy and people called each other "chum"). Or just have the story set in the 1960s.

One page is a splash page...so it's really only two pages. C'mon, you were able to do 24 pages of Fuzz and Mojo chatting up gypsy women and fighting aliens with kilt wearing scotsmen, so this Challenge shouldn't be a problem!

I'm up for ANY interpretation of "Silver Age", the more creative the better.

I'm thinking it could be an age in hisotry where silver back gorrillas rule the planet!

It's funny you should say that, cuz I was gonna have gorrillas in mine.

I was researching the silver age, cuz really, I had no idea. And I came across this bit about the abnormally high number of comics that had apes in them... Bizarre. I can't believe no-one even thought about calling it the 'silver-back age'.

Since I'm inelig...ineligi...."not able to win" this month, I've flaunted the rules and haven't
greyscaled my entry. Here's the first two pages to "inspire" at least one default contestant. Still working on the conclusion (with the whole origin of the team)....
