Well spotted Janitor, my penguin (called Pengwen) is indeed inspired by the play doh versions from England. If you look at my entry in October (the legal/ zebra/ penguin one) you may even see Feathers McGraw amongst the penguins in the court room. Wasn't there another thread about "there's no such thing as an original idea"?

Tang, where's the shells? Maybe the girl in the non-genre comic could be "Michelle".

Forgot to mention the cut off date for the voting. Seeing as Feb is such a short month, the voting will end Friday at midnight or thereabouts. (the fri/sat midnight, not the thur/fri midnight ) ;)

I can't believe that there are over 400 members of this forum but only between 9 and 14 seem to vote every month for this challenge (and normally at least four or five of them are competitors). C'mon people...rock the vote, make your voice heard and all that other inspirational shit. Look at the quality of the entries each month- they keep getting better and better. Tell us if you like them. Tell us if you hate them. Just tell us something by casting your vote. Or better yet, enter next month's competition. The more the merrier (trust me, the army of chickens and undead penguins won't bite....hard).

Oooh, looks like the nurse is here with my sedatives and straight jacket...time to bring the rant to a close. C'mon people- join in, it's fun!
