Artist looking for writer - pref. in Perth.

Postby KikutaKnight on Fri Nov 05, 2010 6:47 pm

Hello

I'm calling writers who have a story they would like to be made into a comic. I'm an artist who finds it hard to stick to writing my own story. Having gotten bored of drawing random crap all the time, I would like a good series, or graphic novel format story to draw.

If you are interested please either reply here or you can email me at kikutaknight@gmail.com

I'm hoping someone from Perth would have something to offer so we can meet up and improve communication, however, it's not completely necessary to me.

Thank you. zorz.

Do you have any examples of your work we could see? To know what style or genre would suit you best?
Is there anything you won't draw? Can I get you to do a 200 page story about yiffing? Or a Mecha adaptation of the movie 'Showgirls', set on Mars?
These are important things.

I don't believe it's so important. Faith and attitude is what I'm looking for in a writer.

Next.

Dude. Nobody is going to be interested in having you draw for them if you can't provide any evidence that you can actually draw. Faith is for religion, not this forum.
And giving anonymous online backchat isn't doing you any favours either.
If you want any constructive responses to this utter mystery of a thread, you need to show solid examples of your work and avoid wasting others time by being specific about what your interests are. If you're interested in drawing anything, say you're interested in everything. But don't write five sentences and expect a flood of responses.
I'm trying to help you here :/

Wow. You're actually really talented. Did you do any graphic design courses? Your deviantart avvie looks really familiar.
Do you prefer fantasy over other stuff? I'm seeing lots of bows and swords and capes and stuff.
