I'm sorry but I am old and so I must bring the story to a close here. Thanks for the support and good night. - Nate

Absolutely gorgeous results, Nate. And the expressions! The colour! The well-handled scat! It all came together really nicely.

Brilliant. I love a straight forward story. ^__^ The sheep poop was a nice bonus. ;P

Um, the story was a little too straightforward to get me involved... but the art is very nice, and the characters look wonderful. Very distinctive style.

Thank you. The story is a bit short for what I originally intended to do. Don't think I'm making light of the whole genius artist myth -

I'm refering to the myth that, supposedly a young Michaelangelo was discovered by a famous painter. Who witnessed the boy draw a perfect circle in the dirt.

- I just started to feel not too well in the middle of the challenge. So I simply finished the story there on a really light note. The old man played a bigger part in the version in my head. I think of this version of the story as a very rough draft.

Totally gorgeous. I told you so already -- but I want your thread to have the bulk it deserves. ^_^

I agree. More bulk.
I'd love to see you go back and beef up the story to your original intention...but I just keep coming back to look at this because it makes me smile. Great little effort Nate.
Short but ridiculously sweet. LOVE IT!!
