You can start at any time after the challenge starts (11am Saturday morning EST) but need to be done by the end (11pm Monday EST). You have 24hrs from your start point to create your pages (ever how many you do).

So Sunday afternoon is just fine.

Hi there, having never read any Aussie comic before I went to the Armageddon Expo yesterday to see what I could find and stumbled upon the Local Act Comics table, had a chat to Dave C and picked up a few issues. I really enjoyed them and decided to research the Aussie scene online and here I am!

Being only a young Marvel reader for many years, this year has been the first time i've really branched out past the superhero genre.. I'm really excited about finding this new previously unknown world and I hope to learn more and take in all this amazing Aussie talent as much as I can!
Cheers, Daz

Hello Everyone, I'm a new member here. I'm currently working on a project for Dave's Local Act Comics. It's a story written by Adam Bales and I'm illustrating and inking it. It's called House of Mirrors and is a bit of a Gothic tale. Pretty sure that's all I can say about that now. So see you all around!

I met this Grange fellow on Satdee and I can tell everyone who didn't get a chance to clap their eyes on their work that he knows his stuff indeed. We had a great chat about his work and mine, and he was nice enough to be patient through my
hangover-induced pauses, stutters, stammers and mistakes. I think we'll be seeing plenty of this fellow’s decidedly nice work around. Welcome aboard!

Paul.

Thank you for the kind words Paul, didn't even notice you were hungover... I was pretty dry as well. Had a big night on Friday myself...

Greetings from New Zealand and DMC Comics

We attended the Brisbane Supanova a few weeks back and met some excellent comic creators.
DMC Comics has been publishing a six-monthly (April & October) anthology - NEW GROUND - of New & Established New Zealand Comic Creative Talent, since 2004.
The anthology, "New Ground", is a collectible preview comic of future New Zealand comic series & mini-series, being released at the ARMAGEDDON PULP CULTURE EXPO (Auckland/Wellington/Christchurch).

Because of the interest we've been getting from the creators across the ditch - DMC Comics is now looking at the possibility of an Aussie/International edition of our anthology.

Now here's the evilness of it all, I'm also the manager of Gotham Comics in Auckland. So I'm a comic publisher/ retail :)

So if any comic creators would be interested in submitting work towards this edition please contact me on gotham@comics.co.nz

Also check out www.dmcnz.co.nz to see what we've been doing for a few years now.
