I had some fliers at Brisbane Supanova and talked to some people but because of other things happening (like my mum being in hospital) I didn't really get the chance to get the word out as widely as I hoped.

Sorry to be slow on the uptake on this, but anything PF can do to help, well I'm at your service. This is a great idea.
I'm in the process of moving PF to a new (and faster) server and I definitely would like to add something to the forums and front page to direct people to the competition. And definitely before the 24 hr challenge starts so that it gets as many eyeballs as possible. It's definitely been slow around here, but the 24 hr challenge is a guaranteed pickup in views. I'll get back to you once the move is finished.
