While the subject of Transformers is floating around on the Movies thread...

The cover to #1 of Marvel's Transformers limited series was painted by Bill Sienkewicz.

#3 of Transformers contained a guest appearance by Spiderman.

Kyle Baker drew an issue of Transformers starring the Dinobots.

The Transformers starred in GI Joe and totally blew any last vestiges of realism out of it, creating a cynical 11 year old.............plus the art was utter pap.

Arthur Ranson drew an issue of the Transformers comic, back in the 1980's.

The American version of the Transformers comic (1980's) was rubbish.

The British version (still 1980's) however was pretty cool. It was magazine size, and came out once a week. Most of the stories were original, with the occasional reprint of an American story. It also featured backup stories (more American reprints) such as Iron Man 2020, Spitfire and the Troubleshooters (from Marvels New Universe), Inhumaniods, GI Joe, and others that don't spring to mind at the moment, heh heh. It also featured the first appearance of the character Death's Head.
