Well, how do you respond to a post like that?
I can't come up with a plot for shit.
I start with an idea, it's made up of scenes, it's got a beginning, a sorta middle...and that's about it.
Which is why I haven't made any comics yet.
And Noo, that was not an open invitaion to get me to collaborate on something, sit down guys..

Does better then me, I work out the ending them a lil bit of the middle and cant' decide on a start then by teh time I get to the end its different to what I started with.

Heheh, I usually start with one scene, most often an action sequence. Then I try to come up with a reason for that scene, all the events that lead to it, that set it up.
But by the time I've thought through all the possibilities and the implications of all the contributing factors, I usually find that the original action scene isn't really necessary or justified. Unfortunately, I can usually think up a non-violent or un-impressive solution to a highly volatile predicament, which isn't really what I set out for.

Hehe, what ever you do cole, don't write punisher I can picture it now, he sits down with the evil mob-boss/ hitman / gangsta to have tea and cupcakes instead of blasting they're internal goeyness all over the back wall.

Just out of interest Cole, have you published anything?

Sort of.
Some of my inking, pencilling, writing and editing has been published by CFCA, but it hasn't been widely distributed. I edit pretty much every bit of text we produce, including the Blackwing 1.5 comic and the Seadragon CD comic we released at the last Supanova.
I haven't personally published anything of mine (the 'thankless task' aspect of doing so is a bit of a deterrent ).

Heheh, if I wrote the Punisher, just about every story would involve a politely written letter from Frank, to the 'bad guy', detailing how he can either cease and desist, or face the consequences. The consequences being supported by quantified proof of the ability and intent to enforce them. Then when the 'bad guy' inevitably rejects the advice he has been given, the rest of the story would involve a lot of sneaking, abductions, arm breaking, bomb-setting, and laying prone in the bushes with an MG-42 and/or an RPG-7, awaiting the double-page-spread-montage of 'bad guys' being torn to pieces by 1200 rounds of 7.92x57mm per minute, from 'Hitler's Buzz-Saw'.
Would anyone buy that? Surely it would be worth it for the [BZZZZZZZZZARRPPP!!!] sound effects alone.
